If they took the meter, how did he turn it on? Did anybody see him do it? Guess the utility was making too much money cutting the water off and on and this is why they didn't want him to pay up. I understand a utility has a right to collect their payment, but when the health of a family is at stake, there should be some remedy for limited use for showers and toilet use. Where is the health department in all this? Just another example of how people are ripped of by those who can with little recourse. Glad I have a well.
