1. The coach is a former police officer. Proffering evidence based upon burden of proof is instilled in the training. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and feels like a duck....it probably is! This had nothing to do with basketball.
As to the law and school district posture, if the photographic evidence is inconclusive, and testimony from the student(s) and the teacher disputes the allegations, then where should we go?
In your profession, are you duty-bound to uphold standards? report wrong doing? Failure to report would have been dereliction of duty.
As to the Courts and the Public School System, they have been failing the taxpayer for years. In the 1950s, this chick would have been fired immediately. Integrity is everything!
