"We tried to reach Shallotte Police Chief Rodney Gause for comment, but he was out of the meeting for the rest of the afternoon." Isn't that the same thing that happened when an officer shot up Shallotte point? Gause has a habit of hiding when there is work to be done. Must be softball for the kids, golf or OH HECK DRINKING ON A FRIDAY NIGHT IN CALABASH.
