I guess one thing would be ignorance and poor judgement, as well as lack of reading skills because no where in any articles I have read abou this particular accident did I readed that this lady was charged with attempted murder. You make it sound as if is purposely took her car and hit the boy. While I admit it may have been wrong for her to drive the vechile while the inspection and registration was out, but no where did it note that she was running 60 and swirved to intentionally hit him. If anything the mother problem meant that that there have been a string of hit and runs, but this seems to be the only one the news is harpping on.
