I gave birth to a wonderful baby boy 6lbs 6.9 oz during hurricane Irene with no power in the hospital in Richmond, Va on August 28th, 2011. The hospital sent me home the day before 8/27 (i had him at 6am the 28th) because they did not believe I was really in labor. When it came down to it, I had no power at home and I was REALLY in labor. Got there and ended up having a c-section 95 degrees in the operating room. Woooo! It was too hot for the doctor who was sweating bullets. Lol...i love my little button now, walking around smiling, laughing all day!
