When I had email all county commissioners to ask where they stand on the proposed $7 vehicle tax to support WAVE, I had to send it 3 times before Mr. Davis & Mr. Barfield responded. I told them that "at least until the next election they work for me and I would appreciate the basic courtesy of an answer."
Here is part of Mr. Davis' response: "First, I do not work for you. I was elected to represent all of the citizens and taxpayers in New Hanover County...."
I guess he missed the part where I told him we currently have 4 vehicles registered in New Hanover county. Then add in the two houses we own in New Hanover but he states he doesn't work for me.
