Oscar-winner Firth coming to Hollywood East

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Some big stars may be making their way to Hollywood East in the next couple of months.

The Wilmington Regional Film Commission says the film "Arthur Newman, Golf Pro" is set to begin filming in Wilmington.

IMDB says Oscar-winner Colin Firth and Golden Globe-winner Emily Blunt will star in the film, referred to on the site as "A Dark Comedy," focused on two people who want to be someone else.

The Film Commission says production will be from mid-October to mid-November.

Firth won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in "The King's Speech." Blunt won a Golden Globe for her performance in the 2005 BBC television film "Gideon's Daughter."

There is still no word on who else will be in the film.
