Arrest someone? Anyone? Just to make your neighborhood feel safe? NO neighborhood feels safe these days. But Pine Valley residents seems to react on a larger scale than most other neighborhoods I've read about.
My neighborhood has had crime too - breaking and entering, home invasions, drug dealing, someone being kidnapped from their home and taken to a different location to be murdered. It's all there, in almost every neighborhood. So you take precautions, you lock your doors and windows, you establish a neighborhood watch program, you check in on your neighbors. But you DON'T panic, spread gossip to heighten everyone's fear, or try to coerce Police into arresting someone before their investigation is complete. The best thing you can do is to watch out for each other and report anything suspicious to the Police.
