This is such a valid point. Our EMS personnel take care of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and strangers, every day; rain or shine. They work every holiday when they would prefer to be with their families. They are exposed to toxins, illness and are in danger when they respond to car accidents and when they respond to other life threatening events. They put smiles on the faces of those dying, who are going to hospice care or home to die. GOD BLESS THEM! They are NOT forgotten by everyone. Besides, CFCC educates and trains many people through their EMT and Paramedic program. Many of the EMS personnel were trained there. My hope is that someone will wake up, apologize for the oversight and invite them to particiate!
