You have some serious problems. There is no excuse for driving drunk, no matter what. So the trooper should have let him off since he has 19 years service as a cop? That is exactly the kind of thinking that has got this country in the shape we are in now. With 19 years service he should have known better. I bet if that 19 years cop had hit and killed one of your kids or loved ones while driving drunk you would look at it differently. I don't want anyone on the roads driving after they have been drinking because I have kids driving and my wife and parents, etc. on the roads. You need some serious help.
