Mr. Fuller, based on your published credentials, you aren't in a position to diagnose mental illness thus you are relaying information you couldn't legally have heard from a medical professional (we're bound by that whole confidentiality/HIPAA thing). Shouldn't public officials stick to facts and not gossip? Moreover, if you believe there is no shame in suffering from mental illness, then why mention this in your press release as a reason for Mr. Berger to step down? It appears this is an attempt to harness the power of social stigma which is contradictory to your "no shame" statement. Heresay and contradiction are not becoming of a reputable public official.

At least 15 people, in addition to myself, saw Mr. Berger's exposed arms today. There is no evidence of fresh, healing or scaring cuts on either of his arms.
