Although this did not end in a good way, I am sure the family is glad to have some answers to what happened to her. They have waited a long time for this I am sure.

My question is why did it take so long to identify the remains? I have seen so many cases in the news where bodies were identified in a short time. I am sure the systems are overloaded but it seems like it wouldn't take such a long time to identify someone.
