LELAND NC (WWAY) -- Our Kitchen Cops inspectors in Brunswick County paid a visit to Yummi Yummi restaurant at 112 J Village Road in Leland, last week.

They found Yummi Yummi, dirty dirty.

Among violations: raw shrimp below raw chicken in cooler, parts of the meat grinder very soiled, egg mix stored too warm in cooler, tightly seal all dry food, mice droppings were found in storage room and around ice machine and a number of cleaning violations.

It added up to a very low 82.5 plus an additional two points for a food safety course and a total 84.5. for the Yummi Yummi restaurant in Leland.

That was last week, inspectors returned to Yummi Yummi this week for a re-inspection.

There were some violations including: too much chicken and beef sitting out at one time, continue to replace ceiling tiles, walls and floors, continue to work on storage.

New violations add up to a 93, plus two for a food safety course and an improved 95 total for Yummi Yummi restaurant.
