In a report released by the US Census Bureau on Tuesday, it was noted NC ranks as one of the 10 Poorest states in the Union.
16.7% of the populace have no health insurance.
The Poverty Rate is 16.4%. I am not certain how that statistic is arrived at. But it comes from the Feds.
The median income, for those industrious enough to work is $43,270.
Isn't it odd this was not reported until after the big Jobs speech in Raleigh on Wednesday?
And where is that Jobs Governor, Bev, in all this?
In the private sector, the CEO would be gone. Can this state afford to wait until 2012 for change?
Your Governor at work.
