If we do not NOW start demanding our elected representatives answer the press freely and fully regarding any public matters, we will soon become victims of our own complacence.
It is unfortunate that some news media are not quite as civil and graceful as they should be in public discourse. However, these public officials have a duty to address matters in a public forum, namely when asked by the press.
