GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) _ Boston College's Jared Dudley has been named the ACC Player of the Week for the second straight week, one of three honors handed out by the league today.
Georgia Tech's Javaris Crittenton and North Carolina's Brandan Wright shared ACC rookie of the week honors.
Dudley averaged 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in the Eagles' two road victories. He shot 68 percent from the floor, including half his 10 tries from 3-point range.
Crittenton averaged 17 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds as Georgia Tech posted wins over North Carolina State and Connecticut.
Wright averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists in North Carolina's victories over then-16th-ranked Duke and Wake Forest. He made 16-of-19 from the floor in the two games and currently leads the ACC in field goal percentage at 65-point-4 percent.
