New Hanover Co. Commission gets back to work after turbulent two weeks

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- New Hanover County Commissioners were back at work today for their first meeting since asking Commissioner Brian Berger to resign.

This morning Berger arrived early and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Nearly two weeks ago, the other four commissioners asked him to resign after a series of personal issues.

Commissioners have mentioned possibly limiting Berger's role on the commission, by removing him from boards and limiting travel, but that was not discussed at today's meeting.
