Today's Raleigh News & Observer included a report the Governor and entourage will spend 8 days, next month, in China and Japan promoting North Carolina business opportunities and building relationships.
The Department of the Census, in Washington, released a report last week which listed North Carolina as one of the ten most impoverished states in the Country.
So what do we do? This is right out of Animal House--
Road Trip
The state has a hiring freeze. The Highway Patrol Acadamy is shuttered due to the budget.
The White House occupant was just in state touting a Jobs Program which is short of the mark and won't stimulate the economy any more than his longwinded over drawn stimulus package of 2010.
So, what does the Governor do? Road Trip
And I guess she's been missing the reports on the Asian stock exchanges which are not doing well.
There are only 2 questions. How large is the entourage? And does the First Gentleman get to tag along?
