Bob Moawad once said, "The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins."
Until your cousins and you and your family stop making excuses for their actions, nothing will change. You can't change what you don't acknowledge. You're not doing them or your family a favor by making excuses. Everyone needs to acknowledge that what they did was wrong, and then figure out ways to change that path of destruction for your family.
