The guy never pointed his weapon at police when they came to his home. He just didn't come out. He wasn't an escaped convict and wasn't an immediate threat to anyone's life. The police can't just execute people like that. I don't call giving someone their day in court as coddling. Getting the police to shoot people to save some money is not the American way. As much as you like the Constitution, you sure don't care about anyone's rights but your own. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?
