Definition of Profanity

"Ass" most certainly is a profane word if used in context as such. Most vulgar words in American English have origins that are NOT profane or obscene. Have you never heard of words being bastardized? Really? Aside from that ignorant defense, do some research on the 1st Amendment if you are going to cite it. Clearly, the utterance was meant to disrupt the peace and hinder an officer from his duty. I have many, many issues with the LPD, but, you, sir, are a MORON. News flash: No media outlet responded to your e-mail because your "tip" lacks merit for an article, much less space on this blog.
