& anti "corporate welfare" liberals, those incentives don't sound like such bad things now do they? 1500 potential jobs gone in a flash. In an area with an anemic jobs base, this could have been a huge economic infusion. This would have been a bunch of homes not foreclosed on, a bunch of sales taxes paid, money spent at local businesses - all gone. These incentives pay for themselves given the right type of business is being recruited.
