Each one of these kids should have to serve time. They should not be allowed to get their licenses until they are 21 and they also should have to serve several hours, possibly hundreds, of community service. I am doubtful the parents are to blame. Many children these days are ignorant. It's not something we can blame on the parents or society really. You can't blame television or the internet. The blame lies solely with whichever one of these children made the decision. Also, with each one of them that got in the car in the first place. What is the charge for Grand Theft Auto? Child Endangerment? Contributing to the delinquency of a minor?
I really hope the local law enforcement for Columbus and Brunswick County will not hold anything back when it comes to determining the charges these children will face. Hoping the law wins this one. Throw them all in jail!
