Why can't we speak of his character or lack of it? Don't we want our leaders to be above reproach? Do you not think that this incident tells a lot about someone's fundamental make-up?
We pillory our public officials for far less. A senator that plays footsie in a public bathroom gets treated far worse in the press than a guy that arguably committed murder.
