Do you want Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach to be a destination, or just another crappy little harbor town? If it's the latter, you'll never have to be inconvenienced EVER... and most of the people in this town would be out of work. If you want tourism, sometimes there will be events that inconvenience you. But the traffic problems are well known and publicized in advance so you can plan around it... I had to re-route a little bit, but I didn't have any problems getting anywhere on Saturday.
