You are exactly right about the sacrifes that police officers make....I AM MARRIED TO ONE (not from Leland).... but that is no excuse for their irresponsibility. Not sure why you would play a sympathy card!!! If they are in violation as stated in this article, then they should be held accountable. They hold us accountable for abiding by State and City ordinances so why should they be treated any different! I have lived in this area for 15 years and know 1st hand that most of the Leland PD officers are arrogant and do not show respect to the community in which they to serve.
