He reported it to the AD. What more should he have done? And let's remember, he was 77 or so at the time he became aware.
Similar in some respects to Lefty Driesel who was forced out at Maryland after the drug overdose of Len Bias; who had completed his eligibility and been darfted by the Celtics and signed a multi-million dollar contract with one of the shoe manufacturers. He was in Boston at the time of his demise. Yet Driesel walked the plank.
