Tar Heel is a great spot in Bladen County. It is a small spot on the map but we care alot about our town and our neighbors. I was voter #40 out of 86. Thats a great turnout for a "Write In" Election. The out going Mayor and council should be proud of what they accomplished in their term. We have some great choices of citizens that are interested so I am sure it will turn out just fine. As Mayor Martin said "Tar Heel is not a joke" as other stations have made us out to be. We ARE a great bunch of people and we DO care!!!
