I have a feeling that the complainers are simply a very vocal minority of voters. After all, if you're not happy with something, you're more likely to complain about it.
Think about customer service; when you have a good shopping experience you tend to just keep going about your business. But when you have a bad experience, you're much more likely to speak your mind and complain to management.
I think the same applies to the commenters on this site. The people who are upset are letting their voices be heard. And those who are happy, or just don't care, don't make the effort to post comments.
