This is a true tragedy - a great coach and person taken down by the inexcusable behavior of someone he trusted. I know Joe Paterno and went to school with one of his sons. He is a very honorable man who has always made sure his players did well in school and behaved off and on the field. He did report this to his superiors who failed to take action. As he said, "with the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more." I know this is tearing him apart and will put a black-eye in the Penn State program, but let's not forget who is ultimately responsible for this - Jerry Sandusky - and his criminal behavior. But more importantly, let's not lose sight of the 8 victims that were abused by someone who used his power and position to destroy their lives. My heart goes out to the victims, my disdain to Jerry Sandusky and my support to Jopa!!
