Where did I defend Coach Paterno? Where did I state it was anything but a shameful series of incidents?

I did state, and repeat, the Grad Assistant who actually witnessed the incident in the shower room should have intervened right then. He should have done something to spare that young boy. If nothing else, he could have made a lot of coughing sounds and noices. He could have stepped between Sandusky and the Boy.

There is a person who should be held accountable. He was present and did nothing.

Coach Paterno was not present; had only a hearsay accounting; and did what he thought best.

Hindsight has proven him wrong.

And your failure to completley read a post puts egg foo young on your face.
