The DOT engineer, myself and hundreds of others who use the bridge are hoping for the same thing. I can understand running a little behind schedule, but a year? Hope the contractor is being fined for every day he is behind when the work is finally done. Wonder how long it will be before it sticks open again. Never known it to stick shut and hinder boat traffic.
