County looks for public feedback on Carolina Beach Rd. signs

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Last night Wilmington City Council decided to hold off on making a decision on an ordinance restricting signs at businesses. Tomorrow New Hanover County leaders look for public input on a similar law.

The Planning and Inspections Department will hold an open house to gather public input on signage along Carolina Beach Road. The county is reworking an ordinance passed in 2001 that restricts how large signs can be between Monkey Junction and Snow's Cut.

The meeting is tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myrtle Grove Middle School.
