These people have been brainwashed by corporate advertising that they MUST have every stupid gadget or gizmo if they want to be happy. McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. exist at the expense of every small locally-owned restaurant, hardware store, clothing shop that cannot compete with their cheap, Chinese-made crap.

As long as Americans go insane on "Black Friday", the corporations will keep pumping up the volume and we lose more and more of our independent culture/spirit every season.
