Or maybe just got off work? There is a HUGE difference between being 22 and out past 11pm and 13 and outside at 3am. If I remember correctly midnight was not very late when I was 22. But, you sir/ma'am are rude. You don't know why he was walking, but he is seriously hurt. Instead of being self righteous, try being a little sympathetic or heaven forbid empathetic. Thousands were shopping sales that night, that doesn't make us lack morals; maybe common sense, but definately not morals.
