It's only slander if it is untrue. They didn't say she was guilty of anything, they said she was charged. If you look it up on the website for the North Carolina judicial system you will find that she has four felony charges--2 counts of trafficking opium/heroin, 1 count of possession with intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver a schedule II controlled substance and one count of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. It's all right there in black and white which proves that WWAY did not tell any lies.
Anthony Lisk was charged with the same things as well as quite a few other charges. And just because he has broken more laws and piled up more charges, doesn't mean that she is less culpable for her actions.
