(WWAY) -- In this weeks edition of Kitchen Cops one low and one high performer to report.

First the low score, Waffle House #1067 at 5309 S. College Rd in Wilmington.

Inspectors found a number of violations including:
Raw meat in cooler not protected
Dishes above cook line contained food residue
Eggs at improper temperature
Live roaches in dish room
Soiled linens on food contact surfaces
Need to clean containers
Grease build up through out facility
No paper towels or antibacterial soap at hand sink
And several more violations
It all adds up to a low score of 83 for Waffle House #1067 at 5309 S. College Rd.

Our high performer is Fibber McGee’s 1780-1 Queen Anne St in Sunset Beach.

Brunswick county inspectors found nothing out of line and no problems, in fact Fibber McGee’s scored a perfect score plus two points for a food safety course.

A true 102 for Fibber McGee’s.
