This entire week's financial news has been nothing but bovine droppings. My favorite was that the Fed was pledging to back the Euro and add liquidity to banks (foreign and domestic) as needed.
If we pulled the plug on their printing presses, that would be tantamount to having a homeless wino co-sign your loan. We're fifteen trillion in debt. We have nothing to lend.
Oh, but we DO have plenty of paper, ink, and those presses come on with the flip of a switch.
Still recommending: Remote land with a potable source of water, freeze-dried canned food (three years per individual), several firearms with several thousand rounds for each, and some gold.
