JACKSONVILLE, NC (WCTI) -- Deputies in Onslow County are investigating a shooting; Sheriff Ed Brown said a man was shot three times.

It happened near 1932 Blue Creek Road near Jacksonville at around 8:30 a.m. Captain Jason Daughtry said an altercation led to the shooting. Deputies have been in touch with family members of two men involved in the shooting; no one is in custody at this time. Investigators are looking for a white Cadillac that may have bullet holes from the gunfire exchange.
