I remember back in the 60s Sears had an order store in my hometown of Concord, NC. I placed many orders there and went and picked them up when they arrived. But, over the years, it seems Sears could not or would not compete with other similar stores with prices. If I can buy the same item for less at another retailer, that is where I will go. I replaced a worn out Craftsman ratchet handle a while back. The one they gave me was as bad as the one I returned. I don't buy Craftsman anymore.
