UPDATE: Suspect wanted by FBI Task Force faces numerous charges


PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Police have arrested a suspect wanted by the FBI in Pender County.

The Pender County Sheriff's Department confirms Donald-Ray Edtuan Davis was arrested in the area of Hampstead Methodist Church.

Davis faces several charges, including maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances, possess drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine and manufacture cocaine. He is in jail under a $513,000 secured bond.

State troopers, Wilmington Police and Pender County Sheriff's deputies were on the search Wednesday afternoon for Davis.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force was attempting to arrest Davis in Wilmington when he wrecked into a police unit and led police on a chase, striking two more vehicles.

Sgt. Matt Hardee with Highway Patrol says when Davis hit the last car at Highway 17 and Country Club Road in Pender County, he ran away.
