It's nice to see that Rep. Justice has stepped up to the plate and called on Berger to resign. But if he refuses to resign when urged by the citizens and voters of New Hanover County and surrounding areas, and by his fellow commissioners, do you think he will resign because one representative calls for it? It's going to take a lot more than that to boot Berger out.
Berger has already proven he doesn't care what the citizens or his fellow commissioners want. He's in total denial, and he will hang on to that job until the people finally vote him out, or he totally flips out and winds up in jail or a mental ward.
Marcus T. Cicero once said, "To disregard what the world thinks of us is not only arrogant but utterly shameless." I think that defines Berger to a "t".
Arrogant and Shameful
