I wish the most sincere condolances to Latricia Ana Scott's family and friends. It's just a tragedy that someone so early in life can be taken away, and by a felon who should never have been able to get within striking distance of his victim. This great nation needs to find a way to stop the violence. Incarcerations need to be longer. Past offenders need closer scrutiny and control. The public deserves protection. Criminals have no rights, they lost their rights when they chose to harm others. Latricia Ana Scott's killer must never be free to harm anyone else again. The Scott family will be living their loss every day for the rest of their lives. It's not the way life should be.
