I saw the game yesterday and Hanover has a deep bench but Angel clearly is not using it. You have a 5'7 point guard on Pine forest team who New Hanover matched up with 6'2 guards, New Hanover was getting beat every chance that little man got which led to foul trouble but New Hanover has a 5'7 quick guard on their own bench who didnt play at all. You cant play 5 starters the entire game because you will always have fatigue which will lead to reach ins and foul trouble. Then when those five starters get in foul trouble, you put kids in that dont hardly play. If you want a state championship Angel, use your bench ALL the time. Whats the point in having a deep bench if you arent utilizing it? If you keep playing those same five starters the entire game, you wont be earning that state title.
