Jerry,
I would like to invite you to any D.A.R.E. Class or D.A.R.E. Graduation in your area to see if this program works. For educated folks like you it is so easy to make comments about a program that you can just "Google" about. To me that was an easy way out. Google does not show how D.A.R.E. Officers across this country help children, parents, and schools on the fight against drugs, violence, and negative peer pressure. You did mention studies and research but you fail to mention the positive research done over the past 20 years of the D.A.R.E. Program.
I am a D.A.R.E. Officer who has graduated over 5000 kids and helped over 300 Police Officers and Deputy Sheriffs to become D.A.R.E. Officers. I would be more than happy to educate you on your horrid misleading information.
By the way, seatbelts sometimes cause injury but we wear them and all manufacturers still put them in vehicels.
Jerry, I would like to
