I always enjoy the opinion that ANY police department can stop EVERY crime. Why is it so easy to take the actual responsibility from the idiots who actually commit the crimes? Last I checked, all police officers are human beings, not superheroes who can be everywhere at any time. Thank you WPD for doing the thankless job you do.
p.s. @brian: maybe you should put some thought into a job as a police officer....might give you the reality check you obviously need.
