WILSON, NC (AP) -- Wilson County sheriff's deputies say an armed man has surrendered after a 13-hour standoff at his home. Deputies say no one was hurt. Officers went to the home of Eric Radke late Wednesday afternoon to serve involuntary commitment papers. Deputies say Radke came outside, fired a shot into the air and went back inside. Officers say Radke surrendered early Thursday morning. Some neighbors were evacuated during the standoff while others were told to stay inside their homes. (Copyright 2012 by The Associated Press.
