GREENVILLE, NC (AP) - East Carolina and BYU have agreed to a two-year football series starting in 2017. The schools announced the home-and-home series Wednesday. The Cougars will travel to Greenville in 2017 and the Pirates will return the trip to Provo, Utah, the following year. BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe says the Cougars are eager about making their first trip to North Carolina for a football game. East Carolina athletic director Terry Holland says he would like to continue the relationship between the schools in the future, possibly by scheduling games in other sports.
