Lump all drugs together and today's kids will know you're bull-stuffing them and will ignore everything you tell them. That's really dangerous. Tell them specifically about marijuana's potential gateway, pschoactive and physiological effects and they might just listen instead of blowing you off. That's constructive behaviour.
The refutational points made in my post are as valid as the points made by yourself concerning possible negative effects of marijuana usage.
In the real world, you sometimes have to pick your battles carefully. Simply making up a pile of bull-stuff for the purpose of deterring marijauana usage is an unrealistic and potentially harmful approach to winning the war on drugs.
