We need to stop thinking of a new stadium for use ONLY by a new minor league team. We need to think about all of the other positive benefits it brings to Wilmington. We can host State Championships, and host thousands of players and parents. We can host many other premier events, and give our town's young ballplayers a top notch facility to aspire to play at in big games. This will be a great benefit to Wilmington, and if you allow the city to profit off of all concessions and ticket percentages for each event, it will be able to sustain itself.
